With over a decade of professional experience, my current practice is focused on my work as a freelance dance artist and choreographer

DANCE ARTIST

As a Dance Artist, I engage in a portfolio of activities ranging from dance projects in schools and community settings to providing workshops in higher education institutions as well as teaching dance technique for professional dance companies. I have extensive experience of working with vulnerable and marginalised populations within the context of my community dance practice. Furthermore, I lecture and provide workshops at a number of higher education institutions, international conferences and festivals. Additionally, I mentor young artists on placement and in training programs.

CHOREOGRAPHER

My current practice as a Choreographer is focused on the development of innovative and original pieces of work that reaches new audiences with the primary aim of effecting social empowerment and transformation. I have collaborated with a number of highly established artists as well as developed my own choreographic practice. Working with professional dancers as well as non-trained dancers my work has been showcased within the context of international festivals and conferences such as HeForShe Arts Week 2016 in Bangkok, Heinrich-Böll-Foundation conference “Dealing with the Past” 2018 in Phnom Penh and the Richard-Strauss-Festival 2019 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
