As a choreographer,  my work is aimed to effect social empowerment and transformation. I have extensive experience of working with professional dancers as well as non-trained dancers.

I have collaboratively developed original pieces of choreography with various established choreographers such as Darren Ellis, Dam Van Huynh, Kwesi Johnson and Antonia Grove. This work has not only engaged marginalised and vulnerable populations in an artistic process but it has also reached new audiences.

As an independent choreographer my work has been performed internationally at festivals and conferences. I have developed work for the groundbreaking only all-female contemporary dance company in Cambodia, New Cambodian Artists . Since 2018 I am the company’s associated artistic director. I also continue to develop highly challenging and innovative choreographic work for non-trained dancers.

Recent choreographies:

  • A Midsummer Night's Dream Choreography for the Richard-Strauss-Festival 2019, Garmisch-Partenkirchen
  • Caravaggio bewegt Choreography for an artistic collaboration with Alte Pinakothek, Munich
  • Kom Lang Satrey (Power Women) Artistic residency with New Cambodian Artists, Siem Reap (Cambodia)
